Blogging – Original content whether it be written or video is a great place to focus on in 2017. Start small and build. Maybe do 1 a week and increase it as time progresses. You can fit blogging in between things, especially if you do video blogging.
Social Media Platforms – Make sure your social media platforms are updated with current information and that you have refreshed your bio for the New Year. Then plan out a content calendar and get ahead by scheduling some consistent content to hit each platform. This way when you get busy with that closing that just isn’t going smoothly or that office emergency you still have content flowing. Get ahead is the name of the game. When you have time, post some real time content and engage.
Newsletters – I like to send out newsletters weekly for my clients. I do this by either sending local event news, market news, listings new to the market or team or company news. The point is to reach out on a regular basis so you are consistently in front of those who may be wavering on whether to make the move in 2017.
Testimonials – Make sure to receive those testimonials/reviews at the end of your real estate transaction. I suggest sending out the request either a week before closing, closing day or a few days after. You want to get on board while it is still fresh in their heads. Platforms I suggest utilizing are found in this blog, Real Estate Reviews in 2017. It is an extremely important strategy in growing trust within your local market.
Video – Try to make a solid plan on turning out more videos this year. YouTube is now considered a search engine and it is the SECOND LARGEST search engine. There are many, many ways of incorporating video into your marketing strategy.
