I’m ending my year and because I like to be transparent I thought I would share the social media tools I am using which have made the final cut. I tend to try out tools ALL the time, but I reevaluate on a monthly basis. Some of these make it possible for me to do what I am able to do do for my clients. So although it cuts into my annual salary and monthly profits, I feel it is more than worth it because if my clients don’t stand out then what is my purpose?
Canva.com – I pay for the business membership because I can save the branding and the templates this way. $12.95 a month.
Ripl.com – This is a great tool to use that allows a quote to come alive as a gif. I use this for IG and somewhat for Facebook. $9.99 a month.
Buffer.com – This is a total must have tool. I use it for content creation as well as scheduling. $100.00 a month.
Crystalknows.com – LinkedIn tool for mostly my own business. It gives a bit of a synopsis on “some” people and lets you know how they wish to converse. (ie. Straight to the point, casual, bullet points etc.) Seems to be fairly accurate as I checked my clients and I know for the most part how they choose to converse. $19.99 a month.
Animoto.com – An amazing tool that creates unique looking videos that are great for annual events that may be occuring across the industry into something really special. $42.00 a month.
BoardBooster.com – Pinterest tool that allows you to “load up” a queue that will disperse pins throughout the day as you have set the schedule. Nice because you don’t have to be on Pinterest all day and it keeps you out in front. $5.00 a client.
Zoho.com – A billing tool I’ve used from day 1. It is $15.00 a month.
Hootsuite.com – I use mainly for social listening and tracking of my client accounts. $116.52 annually.
GotoMtgs.com – Virtual meeting software which I use when training people. $27.00 a month.
Screencast-o-matic.com – a video recording tool I use to record ‘how-to’ videos for clients and for general public. $107.95 annually.
Office365 – Pretty obvious why this one is needed. $69.99 annually.
Anyflip.com – A virtual magazine program that is simply the best. I can do a lot to make it different then the typical e-magazines. I can even incorporate video into it. $299 annually.
Yext.com – This is something I signed on for this month and will see if it is worth it next month to hold on. If I gain some work from it then it stays. I’m trying this in lieu of Google AdWords. $150 first month $99 every month after.
InmanNewsSelect.com – This is for myself and for my clients. I have to stay on top of the real estate news and technology and Inman definitely helps me with that. $57.00 quarterly.
That’s all for now. My job, as I said, is to constantly be on the cutting edge of what’s out there. If it doesn’t have value then I don’t hang onto it, but if it has value for my business or my clients then it stays. What tools do you use that benefit your clients or your own business?
