Blogging gives one the ability to integrate various forms of media such as video, photos or even presentations. You cannot do this on Facebook or YouTube or any of the other channels.
Search engine optimization (SEO) is your ranking on the internet. It is what allows you to be discovered when someone searches. So if you are offering helpful information which people are searching for then you are more likely to be found in their search results.
LEADERSHIP OR EXPERT FACTOR
You become known for your knowledge within the local area or the industry you are in. People will view you as a resource when you are blogging the right content. Do your research here and find out what people are asking about and how you can help them.
BUILD YOUR EMAIL LIST
It’s an excellent way to develop more contacts and relationships. You’ll be able to grow your sphere of influence with blogging.
Many in the real estate field are still not blogging and so if you are doing what many are not then you’ll rise to the top. It positions you outside of the crowd within your industry. That’s a good thing!
KEEPS YOU OUT THERE LEARNING
Helps to encourage you to stay on top of the real estate news and to keep active about your local market activity. That’s the best part of blogging in my opinion. I’m forever a student and this is a great reminder of that.
Don’t neglect this gem. People who guest blog can point back to their own online platforms which help to get their brand noticed. It also helps with SEO. There are a lot of reasons to guest blog. Maybe that’s another blog . . .
