I’m reading a book called, “Good Leaders Ask Great Questions,” by John C. Maxwell. I’ve always been a curious person and so I’m really loving this book as it scratches the curiosity itch by encouraging one to ask questions. I looked at my list of connections on LinkedIn and I asked a few really successful people 2 questions. Did I expect a response? Not really, but I was hopeful. Chris was the one guy who took the time to really sit down and answer the 2 questions with thought and sincerity. Here’s what he shared.
- What habits do you do before you fall asleep?
Honestly, I typically work until I can’t keep my eyes open anymore. This usually means I am up until about 1 AM. Right now I am building a business and this requires a lot of time and late nights. Many people will argue this is a bad habit, but I feel the complete opposite. I love what I do, so falling asleep at the end of the day doing what I love isn’t stressful or harmful to me.
2. What habits do you do each morning upon awakening?
The biggest habit I have formed is a postive attitude. I wake up feeling pumped for the day. This affects everything I do. Many people wake up feeling negative about what they need to do that day, it’s the worst way to live life.
